The electronic prescription for the mutualist collective of agreed option attached to the Provincial Service of MUFACE in Navarra will be a reality on January 22. From that day onwards, pharmacies throughout the Foral Community will supply electronic prescription drugs to all mutualists of agreed choice. This was agreed after a formal meeting in Pamplona.
In order to activate the electronic prescription, from the date of effective implementation, the Navarre Mutual Associations must go to the doctors of the IMQ Navarra medical staff to activate the prescription.
The collaboration of MUFACE, CGCOF and the Official College of Pharmacists of Navarra enabled the development of this project. Navarre joins Asturias, Canary Islands, Cantabria, Extremadura and La Rioja in the implementation of this system.
During the meeting, progress has been made that the next autonomous communities where the deployment will be activated will be Murcia, Baleares and Aragón, to continue in the rest throughout 2024.
Almost 38% of the Mutuality group already has an electronic prescription, a simplification and streamlining of procedures project included in the MUFACE Avanese Plan.
