This week's video of the channel #Public Talent of the Ministry of Finance and Public Service brings us closer to the National Veterinary Corps of the hand of Lucia and Elena, career functionaries belonging to said body, attached to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. Link the video.
They are currently serving as Inspectors for External Health and Animal Health, at the Border Control Post in Barcelona, and they answer us to many of the questions that can be raised about this post, such as what it is, who works there, what functions they perform and what kind of goods are controlled.
They tell us that their functions extend to the agricultural and fisheries sectors, covering the whole food chain to consumer protection, as well as commercial and non-commercial imports and exports of a wide variety of goods between the European Union and countries outside it.
The National Veterinary Corps belongs to Group A1. Its first promotion dates back to 1910 and is a suitable opposition for veterinary graduates with a vocation of public service and seeking professional development in different areas of the field of livestock, fisheries and food. Love it!
