Video #Public Talent. Iria da Cunha. PhD in Language Sciences and Applied Linguistics. UNED.

13/01/2023

This week, YouTube’s #Public Talent channel presents us to Iria da Cunha, a PhD in Language Sciences and Applied Linguistics, a researcher at the Department of Foreign Philology at the Faculty of Philology at UNED, a university that follows an on-line and semi-classroom teaching methodology, making it the largest campus in Europe by number of students.

Iria tells us that in addition to his work as a teacher, this University allows him to dedicate himself to another of his passions, research and transfer, specifically studying the Processing of Natural Language, a branch of Artificial Intelligence that has resulted, among others, the Artext System (the first Spanish-assisted editor to write specialized texts and clear language texts), software registered as intellectual property by UNED, free use.

It therefore encourages everyone who wishes to engage in the academic world to take UNED into account. Access the video.
