The Official State Gazette of 24 March published the Resolution of 16 March 2022, of the General Mutuality of Civil Servants of the State, calling for the granting of socio-sanitary protection aid for the financial year 2022.
The call maintains seven programs of support, which meet the needs of people with oncological diseases, psychiatric illnesses, celiac disease, drug dependence, or provide economic means to improve temporary stays in assisted residences, by prolonging the effects for people in situations of dependency, as well as to facilitate personal autonomy.
This year's call has updated the model report for aid for people with celiac disease. It should be noted that this year, exceptionally, it will be mandatory for all persons applying for assistance to provide the medical report according to this model.
In addition, it includes, among the acquisitions and adaptations covered by the aid programme for cancer patients, the post-umorectomy bras by maintaining the postmastectomy bras and other garments of similar nature, as well as the amounts per garment, and the maximum number of two per year.
The aid may be applied for from 25 March to 31 December 2022 inclusive.
