In the Official Journal of the State of today Thursday 13 January 2022, the Resolution of 4 January 2022 of the State Secretariat for Civil Service, appointing officers and career officials, by the general system of free access and internal promotion, of the Aeronautical Engineers Corps, was published.
It is a body of the General Administration of the State attached to the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, whose activity consists in defining, in a broad sense, policy and regulations in the field of civil aviation. The main areas of activity are airport and air navigation infrastructures, air transport and general aviation.
In order to participate in the selective process, applicants must be in possession of the title of Aeronautical Engineer or the one who qualifies for the exercise of this regulated profession, as laid down in the Community directives.
The opposition phase will consist of four exercises, all mandatory and eliminatory, the first exercise consists of 100 questions of general and specific subjects. The second exercise consists of two translations (direct and reverse) in the English language, the third exercise is an oral development of three subjects (general and specific) and finally a fourth exercise consisting of the written resolution of a practical case proposed by the Court.
All applicants who have passed the opposition phase will undertake a selective course, consisting of a theoretical training period organized by the Sub-Directorate General of Human Resources of the Ministry of Development, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 953/2018 of 27 July. This course shall be aimed at acquiring knowledge of the future professional performance and shall be initiated within a maximum of two months from the end of the period for the submission of documentation of approved applicants and shall last for a maximum of three months. Attendance at the selective course is mandatory.
