Last Friday, April 9, the current public service newsletter for the month of March 2021 was released.

The issues highlighted in this issue have been, inter alia, the initiation in the Committee on the Coordination of Public Employment of the work to reduce temporality, the amendment of Article 10 of the Basic Staff Regulations to establish a new legal regime for interim staff members was addressed.

Another major theme has been the Extraordinary Plenary Meeting of the Open Government Forum following the adoption of the Fourth Open Government Plan, in which an inclusive Open Government Communication Agreement was approved and the Government of Spain's accountability exercise was presented.

The First General Council of MUFACE in 2021 took place, taking stock of MUFACE’s activity and its role in Component 11 of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. In addition, the Advance Plan 2021-2023, the upcoming Healthcare Concert, advances in COVID-19 vaccination and management improvements were discussed.

As in previous issues, information has been provided on the follow-up to the Resolution of the Secretary of State for Territorial Policy and Civil Service, of measures to be taken in the workplaces dependent on the General Administration of the State on the occasion of the new normality.

Alongside this, relevant actions have been included within the Directorate-General for Civil Service, Directorate-General for Public Governance, MUFACE, INAP and at international level.
