The Official State Gazette of April 6 published the Resolution of March 29, 2021, of the Secretariat of State for Territorial Policy and Public Service, appointing career officials, by the general system of free access, of the Body of Agronomic Engineers of the State.
The employees and public employees of this Corps carry out their functions and competences in the agricultural and fisheries sectors, covering all agri-food production, the development of their industry, monitoring and control of the food chain, agricultural infrastructure and spatial planning.
The main areas of action are:
• Agricultural and livestock production and markets
• Rural development and agricultural infrastructure
• Plant and forestry health and hygiene.
• Phytosanitary control at border
• Agro-food economy and statistics.
• Means of agricultural and livestock production
• Land register and valuation
• Agri-food industry
• Food chain
• Environment and climate change
• Laboratories
• Innovation in the agri-food sector and in rural areas
To enter the Corps it is required to be in possession of the title of Agronomist Engineer.
To enter this Body by free shift, it is necessary to overcome the selective process consisting of the following exercises:
First exercise: it consists in the development in writing, within a maximum of 4 hours, of two general themes on subjects related to the programme.
Second exercise: English language test consisting of a direct translation and summary of a text read in the foreign language and dialogue with the court.
Third exercise: Oral presentation of 3 items on the agenda.
Fourth Exercise: Developing a Practical Assumption
After these exercises, applicants will take a selective course
