A new issue of the public service newsletter for December 2020 was published on 18 January.
On this occasion, telework has been highlighted as one of the major achievements of 2020 in the field of public service, together with others such as the decentralization of selective processes, the approval of the Public Employment Offer and the approval of the IV Open Government Plan.
Mention has also been made of the publication of data from the Central Personnel Register for the second half of 2020, which indicate that the number of staff in public administrations amounts to 2,598,581, most of them women.
The approval of the MUFACE Advancing Plan 2021-2023 and the INAP Strategic Plan 2021-2024 have also been outstanding issues, establishing the broad strategic lines that will mark the actions of both institutions in the coming years.
As in previous issues, information has been provided on the follow-up to the Resolution of the Secretary of State for Territorial Policy and Civil Service, of measures to be taken in the workplaces dependent on the General Administration of the State on the occasion of the new normality.
In addition, relevant actions have been included within the Directorate-General for Civil Service, Directorate-General for Public Governance, MUFACE, INAP, Institute for Public Policy Assessment and at international level.
