The General Directorate of the Public Service closes the year 2020 with 61 Talent Gathering sessions held with more than 6,000 people registered in Universities and their Job Fairs, Vocational Training Centers and Professional Colleges.
These days are part of the talent gathering initiative that is one of the priority projects of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Civil Service with the aim of incorporating new generations into public employment.
The General Directorate of the Civil Service develops one of the measures included in this strategy, which is the organization of information sessions for university students, professional students or newly graduated students, in which they are informed about what the Administration is, what it has to offer them as an employee and the possible professional opportunities it offers. In addition, it contributes to publicizing the work developed by public employees and employees.
A major effort has been made in 2020 with over 70 rapporteurs from both the General Directorate of the Civil Service and other ministries and public bodies involved in exposing their particular experience. In addition, workshops have been organized in all the Autonomous Communities with the exception of Cantabria that was visited at the end of 2019, so since the beginning of these days all the Autonomous Communities have been reached.
