Two agreements for the promotion of excellence and its recognition

The Official State Gazette (BOE) has recently published two conventions, which consolidate a key alliance for the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Civil Service in its objective of promoting continuous improvement, particularly with the implementation of Royal Decree 951/2005 of 29 July, establishing the general framework for quality improvement in the General Government of the State (AGE).

The Club of Excellence in Management via Innovation (CEG) has a mission based on four strategic axes: generating knowledge and improvement; boosting EFQM excellence stamps; dynamizing professional meetings – including the forum of public administrations – and providing visibility to its partners. An important and growing number of public organizations, AGE, autonomous communities and local entities use the EFQM model as a reference for their internal management.

For its part, the Ibero-American Foundation for Quality Management (FUNDIBEQ) Fundibeq is the supranational organization that creates the Ibero-American Model of Management Excellence and coordinates the Quality and Management Excellence Program, attached to the Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government, including the development of the Ibero-American Prize. The Ministry collaborates as the Jury of the Prize and is the patron of the foundation.
