The Military Emergency Unit (EMU) has submitted its Protocol for the Integration of Military Personnel with Disabilities. The protocol is part of the Comprehensive Disability Support Plan in the Armed Forces, and aims to ensure equal opportunities and integration of military personnel with disabilities. It includes various measures, such as a reception plan, awareness-raising and awareness-raising actions, and institutional recognition.
In addition, conferences have been held where the Office for Disability Care in the Armed Forces (OADISFAS) has presented how to act and policies aimed at the protection of persons with disabilities in units, centres and agencies of the Armed Forces.
The Military Emergency Unit collaborates with various associations of persons with disabilities through exercises, joint drills and support courses for staff with disabilities.
This action is a sign of the commitment of public administrations to make people with disabilities visible and empowering and promote their inclusion through public employment.
