The Open Government Plan comprises a set of actions to which the General Government of the State is committed, in collaboration with other public administrations and civil society, to advance in the Open Government, understood as a means by which public administrations provide information on what they do with transparency, accountability, participation and take into account the opinion of citizens in the management of public affairs.
With a view to the design of the Fourth Open Government Plan, further meetings have been convened with representatives of civil society, which will take place on the following dates:
-08/09/2020: Meeting on proposals for commitments of the General Government on transparency and integrity.
-09/09/2020: Meeting on proposals for commitments by the General State Administration on participation and awareness-raising.
-11/09/2020: Meeting on proposals for commitments of Autonomous Communities and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
These meetings are in addition to the deliberative workshops that took place last June. However, in order for the IV Open Government Plan to be the product of the maximum debate and consensus, to have the greatest involvement of all the actors and to adapt to the circumstances and requests raised by civil society and public administrations, it has been considered appropriate to convene these new meetings, before the draft of the Plan is submitted to public information.
