The Secretary-General for Civil Service participates in the seminar "Public Administrations in the face of the health crisis" of UIMP summer courses

The Secretary-General for Civil Service, Javier Rueda Vázquez, has participated as moderator and rapporteur in the discussion table "The stress test to the public administration" that took place on 19 August, as part of the seminar "Public Administrations in the face of the health crisis" co-organized by the International University Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) and the National Institute of Public Administration.

The Secretary-General for Civil Service began his intervention by recognizing the work of public employees and employees who have done their best to enable the normal delivery of public services during the pandemic.

The discussion table addressed the opportunities and risks of telework and the need to assess and learn from crisis management, taking into account the complex characteristics of this health crisis.

The meeting included Ángel Belzunegui Eraso, Professor of Sociology and Director of the Chair of Social Inclusion at Rovira i Virgili University and Eloisa del Pino Matute, Senior Scientist at CSIC.

In addition, it was attended by trade union organizations (CCOO, UGT and CSIF) and professionals (FEDECA, COSITAL and Association of Women in the Public Sector).
