On 23 June, the United Nations Day for Public Administration was held, a day that has been dedicated to public employees and employees who have fought against COVID-19.
The outbreak of the pandemic has occurred in the context of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, so the role of public employees and employees has been decisive and has contributed to raising awareness and understanding of the role of public workers in times of crisis.
In addition, the UN awarded the 2020 Public Service Award to the Ministry of Justice for contributing to the achievement of a more effective and responsive public administration that is progressing towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, through the implementation of the electronic judicial headquarters, electronic dossier and the measures foreseen in the #Justice 2030 programme to promote digital justice in a safe, sustainable and accessible environment for citizens.
