Emails sent by the Ministry about LSSICE compliance

After a generic inspection of web pages identified with a domain name “.es”, an email has been sent to multiple recipients from a “no-reply” address of the ministry for the people responsible for those web pages to review and ascertain the identification information of the provider, about the prices they show and, where appropriate, about the process of online purchase to Law 34/2002, of July 11, on services of the information society and electronic commerce.

An explanatory file of the information that must appear on the website is attached to the e-mail message.

With this, website owners will contribute to a safer Internet in which citizens can interact with them in any incident and make purchases with more confidence.

No time limit has been set to adapt the web pages, but the ministry will be able to monitor their compliance after a reasonable time
