Madrid, November 1, 2024.- The Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service has authorized an extraordinary quota of 100 public employees to speed up the processing and management of aid to those affected by DANA. The request was submitted by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory and the reinforcement will take place in the Delegations of the Government of the Valencian Community, Community of Castilla-La Mancha and Community of Andalusia.

This strengthening of human resources will begin to work immediately since the Civil Service will make the appointments urgently so that they can already support the processing, both in person and telematically, of the aid derived from the declaration of areas affected by a civil protection emergency that will go to the Council of Ministers.

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, announced yesterday that the Council of Ministers next Tuesday will approve the declaration of an area highly affected by natural phenomena of all the areas affected by the DANA, with the aim of channelling State aid aimed at rebuilding the affected areas and recovering normality as soon as possible.

The public employees who will serve in the Delegations will come from the Management Corps of the Civil Administration of the State, the Administrative General Corps of the Administration of the State and the Auxiliary General Corps of the Administration of the State.
