Madrid, September 24, 2024.- The Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function, has approved a Royal Decree regulating the direct granting of a grant to the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) within the framework of the Agreement on Training Funds for the employment of Public Administrations.
The purpose of this agreement is to grant a direct grant of EUR 548,410 to the EMFF to promote a training plan aimed at all public employees of local administrations in the territorial area of the State.
The grant is financed from the National Institute of Public Administration’s (INAP) Expenditure Budget’s nominal budget line for the financial year 2024.
The General Training Committee for the Employment of Public Administrations, chaired by the person in charge of the INAP management and in which the CCAA, Ceuta, Melilla and the Local Administration are present through the FEMP, as well as the trade union organizations, is the body in charge of the distribution of the funds.
At its meeting on 21 December 2023, the Commission adopted the Management Agreement for Training Funds for Employment of 2024, which provides for the granting of EUR 548,410 to finance the aforementioned training plan promoted by the EMFF.
