● The scholarships corresponding to the academic year 2023-2024 are raised from 250 euros to 300 euros and are extended to the second degree of Degree or Official Master

Madrid, May 15, 2024.- The General Mutuality of Civil Servants of the State (Muface) has extended the amounts of scholarships (from 250 euros to 300) corresponding to the academic year 2023-2024. The resolution containing these new amounts will be published in the BOE in the coming days. The study grants, included in Muface’s social grants, are intended to enable the social, professional and cultural promotion of the mutualist collective through financial contributions aimed at covering the cost of university tuition.

The presentation of applications and supporting documentation will be made exclusively through the MUFACE’s electronic headquarters, and paper applications will not be accepted by any face-to-face channel or other registries. The application for the scholarships may be made the day after its publication in the BOE.

For this edition, two novelties are presented: On the one hand, the financial amount is improved (in the last five years the amount has doubled) and, the scholarships are extended to the second degree of Degree or Official Master (previously they were only contemplated for a single degree).

Among the requirements to apply for the scholarship is to have approved between the calls of February, June and September 2023, a minimum of 50 percent of the result of dividing the total credits that integrate the curriculum between the number of years that compose it. The percentage of credits may be 35 percent, provided that they are all the credits that are missing for its conclusion.

On the other hand, Muface plans to call for aid for mutual women victims of gender-based violence.
