The General Secretariat of Digital Administration launches MiFacturae, a new service to generate electronic invoices

  • The General Secretariat of Digital Administration (SGAD) of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service has developed a new service, MiFacturae, which facilitates the generation of electronic invoices in the format required by the administration.

    The General Secretariat of Digital Administration (SGAD) of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service has developed a new service, MiFacturae, which facilitates the generation of electronic invoices in the format required by the administration.

    MiFacturae offers a free and cloud alternative especially to SMEs and the self-employed. The new service, in addition to generating electronic invoices in Invoice E format, also allows them to be presented in FACe, general point of electronic invoice entries to more than 22,000 agencies of the central, regional and local administrations, as well as universities, facilitating and simplifying the whole process.

    To use this service, the only requirement is to have internet, a browser and a method of electronic identification of those widely spread in the public administration: electronic certificates, electronic ID and the concerted key systems offered by the CL@VE platform. To be able to sign the invoice electronically, it will be essential to have an electronic certificate or an electronic ID card.

    The main features it offers are the following:

    MiFacturae is a new service developed within measure 2 of the Plan for the Digitalization of Public Administrations, to improve the user experience of citizens in the use of public services. All of this within the framework of Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and of agenda Spain Digital 2026.
