The first grants of the Digital Kit program are delivered
The government, through the entity Red.es has begun to grant the first aid aimed at the digitalization of companies of the Recovery Plan.
More than 2,000 companies from 10 to less than 50 employees have today received notification of the award of the digital voucher, in the amount of €12,000, which can be used for one or more digital solutions that will allow them to increase their level of digitisation. Among the different digital solutions are: website and internet presence, social media management, e-commerce; customer management; virtual office services and tools, business intelligence and analytics, process management, e-invoicing, secure communications and cybersecurity.
The requirements that companies must meet to qualify for aid are: not to have consideration of a company in crisis; to be aware of tax obligations and against Social Security; not to exceed the maximum limit of aid established in the Community framework to have the automatic authorization “de minimis”; not to be subject to a pending recovery order of the European Commission that has declared an aid illegal and incompatible with the common market; to have the consideration of a small company, micro-company or autonomous; to be in a situation of high and have the minimum age that is established by call; not to incur any of the prohibitions provided in Article 13.2 of the Law 38/2003, of Maturity Acelera small.
In a month, the first companies have received their digital bonus
The granting of the aid of the Digital Kit program has begun in record time given the magnitude of the program and the mobilization of the applicant companies. One month after the launch of the call, on March 15, more than 50,000 applications have been received.
Currently, the first 2,000 applications have been resolved. It is expected that all the applications submitted, except those that need to be corrected, will be resolved by the month of June.
The success of this call comes not only from the total number of applications received so far, but also from the percentage within the regional business fabric.
In some provinces, one in two companies has applied for assistance from the Digital Kit program. This has happened, for example, in Soria (Castilla y León), Lleida (Catalonia) or Córdoba (Andalusia).
Application submission deadline remains open
Interested companies can apply for the grants at the electronic headquarters of Red.es. The term will remain open for 6 months or until the funds run out.
This announcement for the SMEs From 10 to less than 50 employees, it has an initial budget of 500 million euros.
During this exercise, another call for applications will be launched. SMEs from 3 to 9 employees, and a third for SMEs and self-employed with less than 3 employees.
Highs of Digitizing Agents: more than 6000 throughout Spain
For its part, the accession period for digitizing agents will remain open for as long as the program remains active. The “catalog of digitizing agents” that can be consulted in www.acelerapyme.es It is updated every week, and currently has more than 6000 agents registered.
These digitizing agents meet the requirements to be able to provide digitization services to the companies benefiting from the Digital Kit program and holders of the digital voucher, and they will be able to collaborate in the application process of the aid being also voluntary representatives and in the control actions that derive from them.
In addition, they will be the ones who present all the supporting documentation and those who receive the payment of the digital voucher given by the beneficiary, once their justification has been accepted.
3067 million euros for the digitization of companies
The Digital Kit program promoted by the Government of Spain aims to promote the digitization of small businesses, micro-SMEs and self-employed people, and contribute to modernizing the Spanish productive fabric.
It is endowed with a budget of 3,067 million euros, financed by the European Union through the funds NextGenerationEUwithin the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and aims to digitise SMEs and self-employed from all productive sectors throughout the national territory over the next three years.
The ministerial order that constitutes the regulatory bases for the granting of this direct aid of the Digital Kit program was published
