Red.es starts a road show by Autonomous Communities to publicize the Digital Kit
Red.es - an entity attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence - begins this Tuesday, January 18, an intense tour of informative days of a marked practical nature that will bring the Digital Kit program to small companies, microenterprises and self-employed people in all regions of Spain.
This series of presentations will last several months and will allow us to know in detail how aid can be accessed, what advantages the digital transformation of companies has and what facilitating role digital agents and other collaborating entities play in the process of processing and granting aid.
In order to generate the greatest impact, the celebration of these days will have the support of collaborators of the local ecosystem such as regional and local administrations, business organizations and the network of Oficina Acelera small.
The first stop will be tomorrow in the Extremadura city of Mérida and will have the collaboration of the Junta de Extremadura. The next days will be held in the Valencian Community, Galicia, Castilla-La Mancha and Cantabria.
Huge interest of digitizing agents to join the Program
Since last week the announcement of Accession to be a digitizing agent of the Kit Digital program was published and the electronic headquarters of Red.es (https://sede.red.gob.es) was opened, more than 4,670 entities have been interested in acquiring the status of “adhered digitizing agent” with 1,035 requests formally submitted and another 3,636 in the draft phase.
The attached digitizing agents will be part of the “catalog of digitizers” that can be consulted on the official website www.acelerapyme.es. They will also be the only ones authorized to enter into “agreements to provide digitization solutions” with the companies benefiting from the Digital Kit program and holders of the digital voucher.
In this way, they will be able to accompany them in their digital transformation processes and provide the digitalization solutions that allow them to advance in their level of digital maturity, in key areas of business digitalization.
Some of these areas are: presence on the Internet, with the creation or maintenance of a website or the management of social networks; e-commerce; customer management; the virtual office; business intelligence and analytics; the automation of processes such as accounting, billing or inventory; e-invoicing; secure communications; and cybersecurity.
More than 1,600,000 visits to the Acelera platform small
The portal www.acelerapyme.es has received, since the launch of the Digital Kit program on November 25th, more than one and a half million visits, more than 37,000 have been registered. SMEs and autonomous, of which about 70% have carried out the self-diagnostic test of digital maturity level.
The Acelera program small is the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation aimed at building the reference ecosystem of the digital transformation of the SMEs. It is developed by Red.es and is part of the Digitization Plan of SMEs2021–2025, which has more than €4 billion in budget, and is composed of three different actions: the Acelera office network small, support and advisory services and the Acelera platform small.

Digital Kit Program
The Digital Kit program promoted by the Government of Spain aims to promote the digitization of small businesses, micro-SMEs and self-employed people, and contribute to modernizing the Spanish productive fabric.
It is endowed with a budget of 3,067 million euros, financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan through the NextGenerationEU funds, within the framework of the España Digital 2025 agenda and the Digital Digitalization Plan. SMEs 2021-2025, and aims to digitize close to a million SMEs and autonomous throughout the national territory of all productive sectors over the next three years.
