Digitizing agents can now join the Digital Kit program

    Red.es - an entity attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence - has published in its electronic headquarters (https://sede.red.gob.es) the Accession Announcement to become a digitizing agent of the Digital Kit program.

    Entities interested in participating as an “adhered digitizing agent” can now submit their application at the headquarters of Red.es. To do this, they must meet requirements such as being aware of tax and social security obligations and not being in a crisis situation, having the fiscal domicile and center of provision of the activities in the EU, or having reached a certain level of turnover, among others.

    Digitizer catalog

    The attached digitizing agents will be part of the “catalog of digitizers” that can be consulted on the official website www.acelerapyme.es. They will also be the only ones authorized to enter into “agreements to provide digitization solutions” with the companies benefiting from the Digital Kit program and holders of the digital voucher.

    In this way, they will be able to accompany them in their digital transformation processes and provide the digitalization solutions that allow them to advance in their level of digital maturity, in key areas of business digitalization. Some of these areas are: presence on the Internet, with the creation or maintenance of a website or the management of social networks; e-commerce; customer management; the virtual office; business intelligence and analytics; the automation of processes such as accounting, billing or inventory; e-invoicing; secure communications; and cybersecurity.

    With the aim of facilitating the SMEs And the self-employed professionals who have access to the grants, the participating digitizing agents will be able to collaborate in the application tasks and control actions derived from them.

    In addition, they will be the ones who present all the supporting documentation and those who receive the payment of the digital voucher given by the beneficiary, once their justification has been accepted.

    In order to support the participating digitizing agents who have signed agreements to provide digitization solutions with the beneficiaries, a financing line of up to 100% has been managed with the Official Credit Institute (ICO).

    Digital Kit Program for Small Business, MicroSMEs and Self-Employed

    The Digital Kit program promoted by the Government of Spain and presented last November by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, aims to promote the digitization of small businesses, micro-SMEs and self-employed people, and contribute to modernizing the Spanish productive fabric.

    It is endowed with a budget of 3,067 million euros, financed by the European Union through the funds Next Generation EU, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Spain Digital 2025 agenda and the Digitalization Plan of SMEs 2021-2025, and aims to digitize close to a million SMEs and autonomous throughout the national territory of all productive sectors over the next three years.

    It is worth mentioning the close collaboration of the Spanish Chamber and the General Council of Notaries, which, in order to facilitate access and make the management of aids and self-employed workers easier, and promote anti-fraud measures, will collaborate in its management.

    Over a million visits to the Acelera platform small

    The Acelera program small is the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation aimed at building the reference ecosystem of the digital transformation of the SMEs. It is developed by Red.es and is framed in the Digitization Plan of SMEs 2021–2025, which has more than 4 billion euros in budget, and is composed of three different actions: the Acelera office network small, support and advisory services and the Acelera platform small.

    So far, the portal has received 1,258,329 visits, more than 31,500 SMEs and self-employed have registered on the portal acelerapyme.es And more than 21,200 have performed digital maturity level self-diagnosis.
