Companies and self-employed people from all the provinces of Spain receive guaranteed funding with the Guarantee Line
June 12, 2020. Self-employed and companies from all the provinces of Spain are receiving guaranteed funding through the Guarantee Lines. The collaboration with the 123 financial institutions involved in the management of the line has allowed 554,786 loans to be approved by 10 June and almost 68 billion euros to be distributed to companies.
The amount endorsed amounts to 51,921 million euros. Of this line, which has an allocation of up to 100 billion euros, four tranches have already been activated, amounting to 84.5 billion euros.
Self-employed and SMEs continue to concentrate the largest number of approved operations, with 545,147, 98.2% of the total, and an approved amount of 38,259 million euros. This has allowed these companies to receive 47,878 million euros to cover their liquidity and circulating needs.
The largest companies have received 20,055 million euros in funding, through 9,639 operations backed with 13,662 million euros.
Credit institutions, credit financial institutions, payment institutions or electronic money institutions are responsible for analyzing and formalizing transactions. So far, a total of 123 financial institutions collaborate with the Official Credit Institute in the management, which makes the Guarantee Line one of the largest and main exponents of public-private collaboration.
