Course “The Spanish Digital Agenda” from 28th to 30th June at the UIMP
The integration of digital technology in all areas of society and the economy is evolving at ever-increasing speeds and intensities. The estimates of economic growth and the improvement in the quality of life that this entails are of such magnitude and scope that one can well speak of a new revolution. To maximize the benefits that are presented to us in a homogeneous and inclusive way requires an orderly response to the important challenges that accompany it. This constant and rapid evolution causes changes in these challenges and generates new ones, making it necessary a continuous review, evaluation and reflection of the public policies that have accompanied this process since the beginning of that revolution.
From the Secretary of State for the Information Society and the Digital Agenda, aware of the importance that the digital revolution that we are witnessing in Spanish Society and Economy has, and in order to create a space for debate with the whole society on the impulse and measures that could intensify the pace of adaptation of Spain to the changes that are, and must continue, taking place, has organized, together with the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP), the course “The Spanish Digital Agenda”, which will be held from 28 to 30 June 2017.
