Minister Óscar López closes the General Assembly of DigitalES

Madrid, December 19, 2024.- The Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Function, Óscar López, has closed the General Assembly of DigitalES thanking the role played by associations like this one at a time of excellent economic news for Spain and for the digital transformation of our country. “It is a pleasure to have such a lively and strong sector. You are part of the success of Spain growing twice the OECD average and four times the European average”, said the minister.

During his speech he mentioned the successful transformative projects that emerge from public-private partnerships, “projects that have allowed us to position ourselves in technological capabilities such as connectivity or supercomputing”. Among them he mentioned the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) or the Digital Kit program.

López thanked the always constructive role of DigitalES and stressed that the best way to continue progressing in the digital transition is through public-private collaboration, going hand in hand, together, companies and administration.
