The ministry for the Digital Processing and public function, the proposal and implementation of government policy in the field of telecommunications, information society, digital transformation and the development and promotion of artificial intelligence.

The Ministry for the transformation and the civil service, under the supervision of the individual holder of the department, the functions that are incumbent upon him through the upper courts and decision-making positions:
a) the state secretariat for Digitization and Artificial intelligence, they depend on the General directorate of Digitization and Artificial intelligence, the directorate General of the data and the General directorate of strategic planning in Advanced Digital Technologies and new economy of Language.
(b) the state secretariat for telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures, the General secretariat of Telecommunications and Audiovisual media services.
(c) the state secretariat for Public Service, they depend on the secretariat-General for administration, the General directorate of public service, with the rank of Under-Secretariat, and the General directorate of Public Governance. It Also depends on the State secretariat for the office of Conflicts of interest, with the rank of General management.
Reports directly to the individual holder of the department under Digital Transformation and the civil service.
As A Body of immediate assistance to the department's individual enjoying a cabinet, with the status of directorate-general, with the structure established by article 23.2 of the royal decree 1009/2023, of 5 december, establishing the basic organizational structure of the ministerial departments.
In accordance with article 23.4 of the royal decree 1009/2023, of 5 december there will be in the cabinet a communication unit, responsible for the official communication from the department, which will run and maintain information relations with the media, and disseminate information by the department.
