From December 15 to January 4, the draft Royal Decree regulating Teleworking in the General Administration of the State is submitted to public information.

This draft royal decree regulates telework as a modality for the provision of services at a distance, in accordance with the provisions of Article 47a of the recast text of the Law on the Basic Status of Public Employment, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30.

The draft royal decree shall apply to public employees and employees who provide services in the General Administration of the State, the managing entities and common services of the Social Security, to public bodies, and to those entities of public law with their own legal personality, linked or dependent on the General Administration of the State, which are governed by the general regulations of the Civil Service.

The purpose of the hearing and public information procedure is to obtain the opinion of the citizens entitled to rights and legitimate interests affected by a regulatory project already drafted, directly or through the organisations or associations representing them, and to obtain any additional contributions from other persons or entities.
