This is an experience started on 1 June and will continue until 8 July 2020.
From 22 to 26 June, the fourth week of this dynamic and online learning experience of the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP) took place, in which the concept of ‘gender mainstreaming’ or ‘mainstreaming’ was deepened as a principle to apply the gender perspective in the planning, implementation and evaluation of policies implemented by public administrations to eliminate inequalities between women and men.
This week, participants have applied gender mainstreaming to public administrations and policies in order to make proposals that promote equal treatment and opportunities between women and men in society. The proposals have been concerned with sectors such as education, science, demographic and environmental challenges, sport, culture, traffic, urbanism, economic policy, civil service, official statistics and measures to draw up lists for the general elections. In addition, proposals were made by the participants in the penitentiary institutions and in the State Security Forces and Bodies.
On 25 June, a meeting was held by Héctor Casado López (Assistant Director-General for Labour Relations in the Directorate-General for the Civil Service), which can be accessed through this link.
