Positive assessment of the Office of Electronic Processing of MUFACE in Vigo

MUFACE presents the positive balance sheet of the Vigo Electronic Processing Office (OTE), after a year and a half of operation, which has increased the number of files processed and reduced its resolution time.

During its first months of operation, in 2022, the OTE took over the benefits of the Provincial Service of Madrid and at the end of the year the benefits of Málaga were added. It currently manages the files of 11 Provincial Services, which have already seen their workloads diminished and have been able to focus their efforts on caring for the mutualist collective. It should be borne in mind that the retired group may submit applications on paper, which is not assumed by the OTE.

Since its inception, 81,650 files have been processed and resolved by the OTE, of which 45,065 relate to the first half of 2023. In addition, the processing time for dental and ocular complementary services has been reduced from an average of 34 to just 2 days. Monthly, it started processing 2,681 files, reaching a current average of 6,500 files.

MUFACE’s central and provincial teams work under the premises of innovation and quality service for mutualists. In this way, they constantly devise systems such as the one described, which can be applied to the management chain with immediate positive results for the collective, thus achieving greater agility in the resolution of the procedures.
