10/09/2020

On 9 September, the Committee on the Coordination of Public Employment (CCEP) held a new meeting to continue the work on the reform of the Consolidated Text of the Basic Staff Regulations. This work began last June following the appointment made by the Sectoral Conference on Public Administration at its meeting on 11 June, with the aim of boosting telework and advancing the reduction of temporality.

The final report of the working group that has been collaborating in recent months on the situation analysis on the collection of information and the incorporation of improvements for the quarterly update of the Statistical Staff Bulletin to the Service of Public Administrations has also been presented.

The Committee on the Coordination of Public Employment is a technical body for cooperation between the General Administration of the State, the Autonomous Communities, the cities of Ceuta and Melilla and the local civil service bodies. It depends on the Sectoral Conference of Public Administration and is regulated in Article 100 of the Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of 30 October, which approves the recast text of the Law of Formal Status of the Public Employee.
