In the State Gazette Today, November 2, the Resolution of October 25, 2021, by which they appoint career officials, through the general system of free access and internal promotion, of the Corps of Engineers of Roads, Canals and Ports of the State.
It is a body of the General Administration of the State affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, of Group A1, which are distributed mainly among the Ministries of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda and Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. The sectors of activity in which they perform their functions are basically the units of the Directorates-General of both Ministries (Roads, Sustainability of the Coast and the Sea, Water) as well as in affiliated bodies and bodies, such as the State Railway Safety Agency or the Hydrographic Confederations.
In order to participate in the selective process, applicants must have the title Engineer of Roads, Canals and Ports or that which qualifies for the exercise of the regulated profession, as provided for in the Community directives.
The selective process will consist of 4 mandatory and eliminatory exercises on the four blocks of the agenda, a first exercise of 100 test questions, 25 of each block, a second English language exercise, a third exercise consisting in the oral development of 4 subjects between eight randomly chosen and a fourth exercise of practical cases: two related to block 2 and two related to block 3.
Once the selective course has been passed, the applicants will undertake a traineeship that will have no impact on the determination of the qualification of the selective process. During this traineeship, which will last for a maximum of three months, it will be proposed to exercise generic and varied tasks that have as their primary purpose the acquisition of practical knowledge for the exercise of the functions of the Corps of Road, Canal and State Ports Engineers under the supervision of a tutor designated for this purpose. Under no circumstances will it be possible to carry out the functions of a job. Assistance to programmed practices shall be mandatory.
