The Statistical Bulletin of the Transparency Portal of the General Administration of the State has published the corresponding figures and statistics for the month of January 2021.
During that month, 1,189 applications were submitted on the Portal, slightly lower than in the previous month, which was 1,213 applications. The number of applications accumulated since the launch of the Transparency Portal is 37,366.

In recent years, the number of requests for access to public information through the Transparency Portal of the General Administration of the State has grown substantially. If an average of 260 requests per month were received during 2015 and 2016, in 2017 they went to 350 and in 2018 almost 500 requests per month. The year 2019 saw a very substantial increase, with an average of 620 requests per month. 2020 marked record figures with an average of over 950 monthly requests for access to public information.
The Statistical Bulletin of the Transparency Portal of the General Administration of the State is a document prepared by the General Directorate of Public Governance, which is published monthly in the Transparency Portal, under the section "The Portal in Figures", in order to offer the citizen a tool of knowledge on the most relevant aspects of its functioning.
This document summarizes the activity of the Portal since its inception in December 2014, coinciding with the entry into force of Law 19/2013, of December 9, on transparency, access to public information and good governance, until the present; the main data regarding the management of requests for access to public information processed in the scope of the General Administration of the State and the social media portal of the Youtube activity are distributed.
