Approval of INAP Strategic Plan 2021-2024

29/12/2020

On 28 December 2020, following the meeting of the Governing Council of INAP, the INAP Strategic Plan 2021-2024 has been approved, setting out the strategic lines for the next four-year period and underpinning the Institute’s action programmes.

This Plan is supported by three major tractors for improvement and innovation: the professional capital of the people working in the Civil Service, the digital transformation that are the technological resources with which they work and the organisational openness that is the precise way in which they collaborate with each other with the support of that technology.

Twelve are the strategic lines that underpin INAP's actions for the next four years, grouped into areas corresponding to its three objectives: selection, training and reflection, plus a quarter dedicated to the organization itself.

To define these strategic lines, INAP is based on the contextual and challenging situation essentially caused by the COVID.19 pandemic, which is imposing or accelerating organizational changes in the traditional functioning of the Public Administration, boosting the implantation of telework and requiring more than significant support from information technologies, to overcome the physical distance barrier.

The Strategic Plan 2021-2024 will be developed through 4 Annual Action Plans detailing activities and projects and contains a Monitoring System with the support of indicators, coupled with the concept of evaluation with the aim of promoting continuous improvement cycles and accountability mechanisms.
