On December 1, the Official State Gazette published the Resolution of November 24, 2020, of the Secretariat of State for Territorial Policy and Civil Service, appointing career officials of the Technical Audit and Accounting Corps.
It is a Body attached to the Ministry of Finance, which is entrusted with the functions relating to management in the field of public accounting, financial control and audit function in the public sector, as well as budgeting, appropriate to the requirements and tests for admission to this Body.
As an academic requirement, it is indispensable to be a Bachelor's Degree, University Diploma, Technical Architect or equivalent.
The selective process for entering this Body consists of opposition and selective course.
The opposition phase consists of three eliminatory exercises. The first consists of a questionnaire on Civil and Commercial Law, Economy and Constitutional and Administrative Law; the second relates to the resolution of a practical case of Accounting and Financial Mathematics; the third consists of two parts: the first, in the written answer of a questionnaire of fifteen questions and the second, in the written development of a subject proposed by the court.
In the course of the selection, the subjects related to the State Budget System, Control, Audit and Public Accounting and other matters of a complementary nature will be developed for the development of the functions entrusted to the Technical Audit and Accounting Body.
