On December 1, the Official State Gazette published the Resolution of November 24, 2020, of the State Secretariat of Territorial Policy and Public Service, appointing career officials of the Corps of Technical Architects in the service of the Hacienda Pública.

The body of Technical Architects at the service of the Public Treasury, is a specific body of the General Administration of the State dependent on the Ministry of Finance.

The functions they perform are related to the valuation and valuation of property and cadastre inspections, among other functions related to the tax area. The Technical Architects of Finance can perform their functions at the three levels of the administration (State, Autonomous and Local), and among the most common destinations are the Regional and Territorial Management of Cadaster, Finance Delegations, State Heritage, State Agency of the Tax Administration (AEAT), Tax Departments of Autonomous Communities, among others.

In order to access the Corps of Technical Architects to the service of the Public Treasury, it is necessary to be in possession of the title of Technical Architect or equivalent and to overcome the corresponding selective process convened by the Ministry of Finance.

The agenda for entering this Body consists of blocks related to Constitutional, Administrative and Community Law; Civil and Commercial Law; Cadastre; Valuacion Inmobiliaria; Urban Law and Sector of Public Building and Finance, Financial Law and Tax Law.

The selective processes consist of an opposition phase of three exercises, all of which are eliminated. Those who overcome the opposition phase must pass the selective course at the School of Public Finance.
