Newsletter on public service news for the month of January 2021

On January 12, 2021, the Public Service Update was published.

The issues highlighted in this issue have been the expectations that, in the field of training of public employees, the National Plan of Digitalic Competencies and the organizational measures in the field of human resources, adopted for the implementation of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, consist of:

- Joint resolution of the Secretariats of State for Territorial Policy and Civil Service and for Budgets and Expenditure, approving the job list model for the creation of temporary administrative units for the management and implementation of projects

- Resolution of the Secretariat of State for Territorial Policy and Civil Service, approving the instructions on the applicable criteria for reorganization and job provision.

The call for the INAP Training Plan 2021 has also been a prominent theme, together with the meeting with representatives of the French Civil Service and the Basque Country to share experiences of implementing competency management models in the field of public employment, within the framework of the actions derived from the Talent Capture Plan of the General Administration of the State.

As in previous issues, information has been provided on the follow-up to the Resolution of the Secretary of State for Territorial Policy and Civil Service, of measures to be taken in the workplaces dependent on the General Administration of the State on the occasion of the new normality.

In addition, relevant actions have been included within the Directorate-General for Civil Service, Directorate-General for Public Governance, MUFACE, INAP, Institute for Public Policy Assessment and at international level.
