The Ministry for Digital and Civil Service Transformation and seven business and social organizations have presented the results of the agreement, signed two years ago, to reduce bureaucratic burdens in the Administration. The event, in which the Director General of Public Governance, Carmen Cabanillas, and leaders of CEOE-Cepyme, Chamber of Commerce of Spain, CERMI, ATA, CEPES, UPTA and PMP have participated, has also served to renew that commitment of public-private collaboration.
Through these agreements, civil society organizations identify these administrative burdens and barriers, bring them to the attention of the Administration and the Administration is responsible for analysing them and finding a solution.
As a result of this collaboration, the Administration has received 175 proposals and made improvements in different areas, with these results:
Simplification of procedures to bring the Administration closer to the needs of private entities, in order to improve the attention to those interested in the Digital Kit.
Improvements in the Bill-e tool, with a more usable and intuitive interface.
Elimination of the contribution of certain documents in procedures of various kinds, since they are already in the hands of the Administration.
Reduction of response times by the Administration.
Establish or extend agreements between different agencies for the intermediation of data, avoiding the request of these to those interested in the procedures.
Establish channels of attention and information to users, both telephone and in person, especially for more vulnerable groups.
Develop/improve guides to help users in the management of applications and guidance in certain procedures.
Another of the solutions offered by the Administration to improve public services has been the provision among Renfe customers of the reservation of the H ticket, that is, seats reserved for people with disabilities who use wheelchairs.
Measures to reduce administrative burdens encourage and promote economic activity and simplify the relations between citizens and businesses with the various administrations.
