Civil servants who have suffered physical or mental damage as a result of terrorist activity, as well as those threatened under article 5 of Law 29/2011 of 22 September on the Recognition and Comprehensive Protection of Victims of Terrorism, after recognition by the Ministry of the Interior or final judicial sentence, shall be entitled to enjoy a period of leave under the same conditions as victims of gender-based violence.

Unless there is express and reasoned opposition, this Administration shall consult on its own initiative the documentation proving to be a beneficiary of rights for being a victim of terrorism.

Only in the event of opposition shall the following be provided:

• Copy of the recognition as a victim of terrorist violence by the Ministry of the Interior or of the final judicial decision.
