Access to the status of career staff and permanent staff is implemented through: selective processes from opposition or contest, which are governed by the principles of equality, merit and capacity:
- The Marketing Authorisation Holder and Manufacturer opposition consists of overcoming different tests or eliminating examinationsdepending on the body to which it is intended to be accessed.
- In the contest there is one opposition phase, and one contest phasein which assess the merits of participants in the process, such as their professional experience, seniority in the administration, academic qualifications, training, etc.
