Born in Bilbao in 1981.
Senior Civil Service Officer of the State since 2009 (XLV promotion) and graduated in law from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU, 2004).
He speaks English (C1) and has knowledge of French, Portuguese and Basque.
He has developed his professional career in the General Administration of the State in the field of human resources and the organization. He is currently, and since 2015, Assistant Director-General of the Central Register of Personnel, in the General Directorate of the Public Service, and therefore has the functions entrusted to this Unit by Royal Decree 863/2018, of 13 July, which develops the basic structure of the Ministry, taking care of the management of the Central Personnel Register and the elaboration of Statistical Bulletin staff at the service of public administrations and other public employment statistics.
He has previously held various posts in the General Sub-directorate of Organization, under the General Directorate of Administrative Organisation and Procedures, in the General Sub-directorate of Personnel Procedure Management, under the General Directorate of Civil Service, and in the General Sub-directorate of Human Resources and Inspection of the Ministry of the Interior.
He has also been a member of the Court of Selective Tests for Access to the Technical Management Body (A2) of the City of Madrid and the Tribunal de la trabajo de fin de Master of the Higher Corps of Civil Administrators of the State, as well as a collaborating professor of INAP and other agencies for the provision of courses in the field of human resources.
