The Negotiating Commission of the IV Single Convention for Labour Personnel of the General Administration of the State is the body responsible for the negotiation under the Single Convention, in accordance with Article 88 of the Staff Regulations.
The Negotiating Commission of the IV Single Convention for Labour Personnel of the General Administration of the State is the body responsible for the negotiation under the Single Convention, in accordance with Article 88 of the Staff Regulations.
The Negotiating Commission consists of 30 members with a voice and a vote, 15 representing the administration and 15 representing the labour force. The representatives of the labour force are appointed by the signatory trade union organisations on the basis of the representation obtained in the trade union elections. The agreements of the Negotiating Committee must be adopted by more than 50% of each of the two representations. These agreements are binding, registered in the Central Register of Conventions and published in the Official Gazette of the State.
The main functions of the Negotiating Commission include:
1. Negotiate amendments to the Convention.
2. Approve agreements related to the convention.
