Re-entry to active duty of career staff
The re-entry into active service of staff members who do not have a job reserve shall be effected by their participation in the Calls for competition or for free designation for the provision of jobs.
Re-entry may also be effected by secondmentsubject to the needs of the service, in accordance with the criteria established by the Ministry of Finance and Civil Service and provided that the requirements for the performance of the post are met.

Competent bodies
- The Directorate-General for Civil Service, through the General Sub-directorate for Personnel Procedure Management, is responsible for the processing of re-admission to active service of staff.unofficial career of Bodies and Scales under the Secretariat of State for Civil Service they are in an administrative situation other than active duty without entitlement to a job.

- For their part, the Bodies and Scales not attached to the SEFP must request re-entry to the Ministry to which their Body or Scale is attached, in case of not having a job reserve, to their last destination before changing administrative situation, in case of having a job reservation.
Processing of applications for re-entry for temporary secondment
Period for applying for re-entry into active service staff member of Bodies or Scales attached to the Secretariat of State for Public Service, who, because of their administrative situation, are not entitled to a reservation of place or destination.

Duration of the procedure
The re-entry procedure has a maximum period of resolution of three months, with the effects of administrative silence disestimating.
Completion
If the file is resolved by decision granting re-entry to active service, the assigned post is inalienable.
