What is public employment, and what kind of public employees and employees exist?
Staff public employee any worker or worker who serves in the general interestwith economic remuneration by public administrations. They are classified in Career staff, interim staff, staff or temporary staff.
Career staff
It is one that, depending on a legal appointment, works for a public administration by providing paid professional services to permanent character.
It is grouped into bodies and scales by the the homogeneous nature of the functions carried out by it;. These bodies and scales can be:
- from general character, as they exercise functions that can be developed in different departments.
- from particular character, for exercising specialized functions within a single organization.

In addition, staff are classified as groups (Group A and C), and within them, in subgroups (subgroups A1, A2, C1 and C2)depending on the required degree for access:

For example, the “Senior Civil Service Corps of the State” is of a general nature and its members belong to group A1, while the “Corps of Finance Technicians” is of a special nature, and its members belong to group A2.
Labour force
It is the one who, by virtue of employment contract formalised in writingprovides services paid by public administrations. The workforce is also categorized into different categories. Professional groups, based on the qualification required to access.
