Recognition: Certifications and Awards
The programme of Recognition of the General Framework for Quality Improvement is carried out through the processes of Certification of the Level of Excellence and the Prizes for Quality and Innovation in Public Management. (Modalities Excellence, Innovation and Citizenship)
The regulation of these processes is found in the TFP Order /967/ 2019 of 18 September, laying down the regulatory bases for the recognition programme.
Since the above Order provides that obtaining a Certification of more than 400 points will allow, upon acceptance, direct access to the Award for Excellence in Public Management, it is understood that the procedure is unique for the certification of the level of excellence and regular access to the Award for Excellence in Public Management. Therefore, the information corresponding to both processes is considered in a unified way on the page “Certification of the Level of Excellence and Award for Excellence in Public Management, Regular Access”.
Moreover, according to Article 1.2 of the TFP/967/ 2019 Order, the Certifications and Prizes will be the subject of an annual call by Ministerial Order, which will determine the content of the requests for participation, as well as the deadlines, technical specifications and valuation criteria.
For the purpose of assisting organizations interested in requesting certifications, renewals or submitting nominations for the Awards, the “Guide to the recognition programme”, with supporting materials, models for applications and guidance for preparing some required documents (p.ej. memoirs or improvement plans)
In compliance with Law 39/2015 of 1 October of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, these procedures will be processed electronically through Electronic Headquarters.
Applications for renewal of certificates of the level of excellence shall be made in the manner established by the Call Order for the year in which they become invalid, through the electronic headquarters.
