María González Veracruz

Born in Murcia, in 1979, has a degree in biochemistry, university of Murcia. After four years of research in Molecular Genetics in the Universidad de Murcia, also at the institute of biochemistry of Leipzig (Germany), obtained a degree in research with llm dissertation, a number of publications and the Diploma of advanced studies in Molecular genetics of fungi.

From 2011 to 2019, she was a member of, technology spokesperson of the Socialist Group during the X legislature, and spokesperson on science and innovation during the XII Legislature.

Among other responsibilities, was a member of the right of the PSOE since 2008 until 2016, remain responsible federal technology, science and innovation of the various executive commissions:

Of 2014- 2016, was secretary of science, political participation and networking.

Of 2012- 2014, secretary of participation, networks and innovation.

In 2008 And 2012, secretary of innovation and new technologies.

At present is professor of secondary education, specialization in physics and chemistry, the autonomous community of the region of Murcia.

It was also counsellor to the Centro para el Desarrollo tecnológico Industrial.
