The Royal Decree 829/2023, of 20 november, which they ministerial departments, as amended by commission Royal Decree 1230/2023, of 29 december, has created a ministry for the Digital Processing and the civil service. The ministry has three senior Bodies: the secretariat of Digitization status and Artificial intelligence, the state secretariat for telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure and the state secretariat for Public service.
In addition, the Royal Decree 1009/2023, of 5 december, which establishes the basic organizational structure of the ministerial departments, configure the superior bodies and officials from each department.
Through Royal Decree 890/2024, of 5 septemberin accordance with the provisions of articles 62.e) and 100 of the constitution, and on the proposal of the president of the government, is appointed Minister for the transformation and the civil service to don Óscar López Águeda.
According to Royal Decree 210/2024, of 27 february, which they ministerial departments, this ministry is structured in the following bodies:
- The State secretariat for Digitization and Artificial intelligence, they depend on the General directorate of Digitization and Artificial intelligence, the directorate General of the data and the General directorate of strategic planning in Advanced Digital Technologies and new economy of Language.
- The State secretariat for telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure, to which the General secretariat of Telecommunications and Audiovisual media services.
- The State secretariat for Public Service, they depend on the secretariat-General for administration, the General directorate of public service, with the rank of Under-Secretariat, and the General directorate of Public Governance. It Also depends on the State secretariat for the office of Conflicts of interest, with the rank of General management.
