State secretariat for telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure
The state secretariat for telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures, under the supervision of the person to Digital Transformation and the civil service, shall perform the functions envisaged in article 62 of law 40/2015, of 1 october, within their competence, in relation to the policy of impetus to the field of telecommunications, the audiovisual media services, the deployment of infrastructure and services to ensure connectivity of citizens and companies and boost productivity and economic growth.
To that end, shall perform the functions of promoting and regulating the sector of the telecommunications and audiovisual media services, the dialogue with the occupational sectors, industrial and academic and the inter-ministerial coordination or cooperation with other public administrations to raw materials, without prejudice to the competence of other ministerial departments, in particular, the ministry of culture and the national commission for the markets and competition.
