JOSÉ LUIS ESCRIVÁ BELMONTE
Previously (2020-2023) was minister for the inclusion, Social security and migration and above was the first president of the independent authority Fiscal responsibility. He Held office since march 2014 until january 2020.
During that phase was also president of the network of fiscal institutions independent of the european Union.
He started his career in the bank of spain, where he held various positions in the service of studies, and continued in later years in europe, where participated actively in the process of monetary integration since 1993 as an adviser of the european monetary institute.
With the creation of monetary union was appointed head of the division of monetary policy of the european Central bank in Frankfurt.
Between 2012 and 2014 was Director for the americas of the international bank for Payment of The basel convention.
Between 2004 and 2012 worked in the group BBVA, first as Economista-Jefe and Director of studies and, from 2010, as Managing Director of the area of finance.
Graduated in economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), with special award undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Economic Analysis in the universidad complutense de madrid and in econometrics in the bank of spain.
His career has published numerous articles and research, mainly on financial and monetary affairs.
